What does “non-profit management consulting” mean?
We consider ourselves to be “social entrepreneurs” who combine profit and non-profit goals. That means: profit-orientation is not what motivates our business. We want to initiate change, and for that reason we invest our profit in the Utopia Foundation’s sustainability projects. “Non-profit” does not mean, that we work for free. We deliver high-quality consulting services, and our fees are set accordingly. The salaries that we pay ourselves as managing directors are capped. We reserve the right to support customers at different daily rates, according to their financial framework and capabilities.
How do an advertiser and a PR guy come up with the idea of founding a corporate consulting company for sustainability?
After leaving the communications business, we dedicated ourselves exclusively to the field of sustainability. We want to make our contribution in putting a stop to climate change and making our planet sustainable for the future. From that point on, we decided to dedicate all the know-how that we gathered in over 20 years of working in the fields of marketing, communications and consulting strategies to this topic. We focus solely on “sustainable economic management” and “strategic consumption”. We are members of the sustainability platform www.utopia.de, and founder/trustee respectively of the Utopia Foundation.
What is the purpose of the different colors?
We have designed our corporate identity in such a way, that we use as few resources as possible. We also avoid printing unnecessary copies of documents. Business cards and stationery are stamped. Our stationery consists of 100% recycled paper, and we use differently colored recycling paper by MEMO. We have adopted the colors of the recycling paper for our homepage.
